Kenya 2017

Hope of the World Ministry

Saints -- We have just returned from Kenya Africa where we ministered to the Masai Tribe under the shadow of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Now I just wanted to quickly share a few pictures and praise reports of the trip.

We were able to hold a several day woman's conference in the bush town of Kimana where almost 100 women from all over the Masai Land attended. Dozens were touched and filled by the Holy Spirit. They were empowered through the Word of God and the Spirit of God to go back into their respective areas and change them for Christ.

Bishop Yohanna said: "I have never seen a woman's conference more powerful than this!- very very powerful!

This is going to make a great difference in their lives!"

There were several new converts in the women's conference that needed to be baptized but there is virtually no water in this area - drought everywhere. But by the grace of God we found a small watering hole- muddy, dirty - with cow dung floating in it - but nevertheless- water. And after teaching an anointed class on baptism --
We had the wonderful honor of completely fulfilling the great commission by water baptizing these new Christians into the Kingdom of God!

Matthew 28:19-20 (NKJV) 19  Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

We were joined on this trip by our good friends Jerry and Dianne Mobley. Dianne was afflicted by a staff infection in her elbow early on in the trip- extremely dangerous! But despite that, both her and Jerry did a wonderful job ministering at the conference!

The women were so touched by their testimonies and preaching!

Now I had prayed and asked others to pray  before we left
that the Holy Spirit would guide us on this trip.

And I felt the prompting of the Spirit to call - "or in the world we live in now - face time" - my good friend Bob Bishop about Dianne's elbow. Bob is a very experienced pharmacist back home and has helped me many times in the past with his advice as we have run into medical problems overseas.

He took one look her elbow over the phone-- (Thank you Jesus for technology!) -- and urged us to seek immediate medical help!

So we loaded up the next morning and returned to Nairobi to take Dianne to the hospital for treatment. And praise the Lord we did! - the doctor said if we waited any longer that this would have turned into something very bad very fast!

Folks, I praise God for the leading of the Holy Spirit, the prayer covering of the Saints for Dianne, and for good people back home we can depend on when we run into a problem overseas!

Now the doctor in Nairobi said she had no choice but stay on medication and rest.  So we got them settled in a good hotel to do just that. And I am happy to say that the rest, the antibiotics, and most of all -- the prayer -- worked!

The staff infection is gone and she is just fine now!

Mary and myself returned to the bush - but this time to the town of Nmanga - on the border of Tanzania where we were able to do seminars in the local churches of the area. In church buildings that by the grace of God and your generous donations,  have been constructed over the years by our Ministry! What a blessing it was for us to not only see the growth of the churches but to actually minister within them!

And once again we saw great results as the altars were flooded with people desiring a touch from God! So many lives changed - people saved, healed and delivered!

And Friends -- finally we did what is dearest to our hearts to do -- we preached in the  remote un-reached villages of the area.

We were able to reach 5 of them with the Gospel - many of these people knew nothing of Jesus!  Some had heard the Name but when I asked:
"What special thing did Jesus do for you?" They said:

"He give me my goats and my children."

No ideal of sin, their need for a Savior, or the the great sacrifice He did for them on the cross!

But after sharing the Gospel, all of them knelt down and came to Christ-- and they told us: "Please, Please help us start a church here - we must worship this Jesus with all our hearts!"

So friends, because of your prayers and sacrificial giving, we now have another church plant in the middle of nowhere under the shadow of Mt. Kilanmajaro-where it will grow and flourish and where so many more who know nothing of a Savior named Jesus ----

Will come into His wonderful Kingdom!

This old "Coco" - grandmother - broke my heart! She waited her whole life hidden away in the bush to hear about a Savior who loved her!

She is kneeling down in the dirt - giving her heart to Jesus!

Friends, Thank You! Thank You! Thank You!  For your prayers and support!!

The Lord has surely used you in a mighty way-

To make a difference in the eternity of so many!

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
